Monza® 4 RAIN RFID tag chip operates at the UHF frequency range of 860-960MHz, and fully supports all requirements of the EPCglobal Gen2 specification. The Monza 4 family provides different models to suit diverse applications, with superior sensitivity, highly improved reliability, and unique features like True3D™ antenna technology as well as QT™ technology.

True3D™ antenna technology is an architecture that provides two independent antenna ports, which enabling RFID reader to detect tags from any angle possible. True3D™ enables high system performance with higher read rates for even smaller RFID tags.

Impinj’s QT® technology provides two profiles (public/private) stored in the IC, supports the protection of sensitive data and client privacy with a password. It also comes with a Short Range Mode option, which is extra physical protection by reducing the reading distance between RFID tag and RFID reader.
